Common questions and how to get help.
Frequently Asked Questions
WorldClockBar does not appear after installation.
Check the system tray — the bar may be hidden off-screen. Right-click the tray icon and choose "Show Bar". If no tray icon appears, check Windows Settings > Apps > Startup and ensure WorldClockBar is enabled, then launch it manually from the Start menu.
The bar disappeared after I changed my monitor setup.
WorldClockBar tracks monitors by device name. If you changed your display configuration, open Settings > Monitors and use "Re-detect monitors" to move the bar back to an active display.
My city is not showing the correct time.
Time is computed from the IANA timezone database bundled with Windows. If a timezone has had a recent rule change, update Windows to get the latest timezone data (Windows Update > Advanced Options > Receive updates for other Microsoft products).
The map or 3D globe is blank or not loading.
The map views require WebView2 (Microsoft Edge WebView2 Runtime). On Windows 11 this is pre-installed. On Windows 10, download it from microsoft.com/edge/webview2.
How do I move the bar to a different screen edge?
Right-click the bar and choose the edge (Top, Bottom, Left, Right) from the context menu, or use Settings > General > Bar layout.
How do I get updates?
Updates install automatically through the Microsoft Store. To check manually, open the Microsoft Store app and go to Library > Get updates.
Can I get a refund?
Purchases are processed by Microsoft, so refunds follow the Microsoft Store refund policy. Request one from order history in your Microsoft account.
