Summary

WorldClockBar does not collect, transmit, or share any personal information. It has no user accounts, no analytics, no telemetry, no advertising, and no tracking of any kind. The app runs entirely on your device, and your settings stay on your device.

Information we collect

None. We do not collect, receive, or store any information about you or your use of the app. Because we collect nothing, there is nothing for us to sell, rent, share, or disclose — and we do not do any of those things.

Information stored on your device

The app saves your preferences locally on your own computer so it can restore them the next time it runs: your selected cities, layout and display options, theme, language, and window placement. This information is stored in your local application data folder on your device. It is never transmitted to us or to anyone else.

Network activity

The app does not require an internet connection and does not contact our servers. The world map, satellite view, and 3D globe are rendered entirely from map data included inside the app. No map tiles, imagery, or other data are downloaded while you use the app, and no third-party mapping service receives any request from it.

The app displays an “© OpenStreetMap” attribution on the map. This is a license requirement for the bundled map data — it is not a connection to OpenStreetMap. Selecting that attribution link is the only circumstance in which the app would open an external website, and only in your browser, at your request.

Third-party data and components

  • -Map data. The bundled map data is derived from OpenStreetMap and used under the Open Database License (ODbL), which requires the attribution shown on the map. No data is sent to OpenStreetMap or its contributors.
  • -Microsoft Edge WebView2. The app uses the WebView2 component included with Windows to draw the map and globe locally on your device — purely as a local rendering surface; the app does not browse the web with it.

Updates

Copies of the app installed from the Microsoft Store are updated through the Microsoft Store’s normal update process. The app itself does not check for, download, or install updates, and does not contact our servers to do so.

Children’s privacy

The app is a general-purpose desktop utility and is not directed at children. It does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children — it does not collect information from anyone at all.

This website

worldclockbar.com is a static informational site. It requires no account and sets no tracking cookies. If you email us for support, we use your message solely to respond to you.

Future direct-download version

A version distributed from this website is planned for a later date. That edition will offer an optional, off-by-default setting to load live map imagery from a third-party provider of your choosing, and an update check against our server. If you enable an online imagery provider in that version, the provider you select receives the technical information inherent to any internet request (such as your IP address and the map area viewed) under its own privacy policy; we do not receive it. Neither behavior exists in the Microsoft Store version, which is entirely offline.

Changes & contact

If this policy changes, we will update the effective date above and post the revised policy at this address. Questions: support@intelligentcontroltechnologies.com.
